Determinants of Multidrug-Resistant Pulmonary Tuberculosis in Indonesia: A Spatial Analysis Perspective

Tuberculosis is caused by Mycobacterium (MT). MT usually attacks the lungs and causes pulmonary-tuberculosis. cases in Indonesia keep increasing over years. The presence of Multidrug-Resistant (MDR-TB) has been one main obstacles eradicating tuberculosis because it couldn’t be cured using standard drugs. In fact, success rate MDR-TB treatment 2019 at global level was only 57 percent. Research on can related to spatial aspect this disease transmitted quickly. This study aims obtain an overview model number Indonesia’s pulmonary Geographically Weighted Negative Binomial Regression (GWNBR) method. independent variables used are population density, percentage poor population, health center ratio per 100 thousand workers 10 smokers, region with PHBS policies, BCG immunization coverage. finding reveals that forms 12 regional groups based significant where GWNBR gives better results compared NBR. correlation implies collaboration among governments plays important role reducing MDR-TB.
